Zurmang Namgal Tse Monestary of Sikkim
At the request of Zurmang Gharwang Rinpoche, the monk at the Zurmang Namgal Tse Monestary of Sikkim, our healthcare team travelled to India to provide medical, dental, vision and acupuncture services to the impoverished community in Sikkim and educated individuals in the monastery and the local community on proper dental care to adopt in their daily lifestyle.
1,045 patients received medical, dental, vision, and acupuncture treatments. Our medical team provided immediate relief for individuals experiencing dental, vision, and holistic health issues and educated individuals on preventative health for a greater quality of life. Local community members and health staff were able to learn about preventative health and shadow our licensed healthcare providers to expand knowledge on innovative dental techniques to implement in their community.
