A new vision department has been introduced to our free clinic program this year! Thanks to our volunteer optometrists, ophthalmologists, opticians, and optometry students from Western University for their efforts— for the first time, we have provided free comprehensive eye examinations (visual acuity, glaucoma testing, refraction) and free prescription eyeglasses.

Our team of licensed healthcare providers and volunteers worked together with members of the local facilities in Bombpenh Reach Village to understand the community’s underlying health issues, provide free health services, and improve the existing healthcare system. In total, we provided free dental, vision, and acupuncture treatments to 1,214 patients in the rural community.

Wealth By Health prepared and served warm hearty dinners for 500 LA Mission guests from Skid Row at the LA Mission. In addition to nutrition and wellbeing, these meals represent life-changing hope to many homeless individuals on Skid Row and our support for the LA Mission’s work to transform the lives of those experiencing homelessness.
